City Year Baton Rouge has been busy! Aside from our day to day work with students, we’ve participated in exciting student council elections, supported Saturday service events, and hosted motivating and inspiring conversations with National Trustee, Rosabeth Moss Kanter with our local partners. This week was a shining example of the local impact 64 young people from across the country can make as part of a national movement.

Broadmoor Middle's first Student Council Election created a frenzy of campaign posters around campus. One hopeful student was not above sweetening the vote.
