Join us for Opening Day this Friday!

October 4, 2011

At the City Year Opening Day ceremony, corps members pledge to serve, dedicating a year of their lives to making a difference for children and their communities.

This year, 40 corps members will make this pledge to serve the Baton Rouge community.  They will work tirelessly in four local schools– Belaire High School, Broadmoor Middle School, Capitol Middle School, and Merrydale Elementary– to ensure that EBR students stay on track and build the skills to become academic all-stars.

Please join us at our 2011 Opening Day Ceremony and show your support for this wonderful group of young idealists!
